Lead your Backyard team to victory! Control all of the action when kid versions of Major League Baseball stars join the Backyard Kids. Pick your players, choose a field and play ball - all in 3D. Use power-ups to smack clutch hits, throw blazing strikeouts and win the Championship! Practice baseball skills at your own pace. Check out Mr. Clanky's Coaching Box tutorial or take the field for some hitting and fielding practice. You can play a single game and choose a 6- or 9-inning game between two teams. Before the game begins, te ore-game commentary commentators Sunny Day and Abner Dubbleplay will announce the team match-up.
Lead your team through a full 16- or 32-game BBL season and take a shot at the Backyard Baseball 2005 World Series.

League Standings: View each team’s Win/Loss record and divisional standings.
Strategy: You can select the Change Lineup feature to set your batting order and fielding positions, or the Trade a Player feature to add an unlocked player to your team. You can also change the control method (mouse, gamepad or keyboard).
Schedule: View the season schedule and track the results of each game. Click the arrows at the top of the screen to cycle through the teams. During the playoffs, you will find all of the game match-ups and results in the Playoffs section.
